Store bought gifts are overrated, I’m thinking. So everyone who isn’t immediate family or the boy will be getting some homemade candies this year. Luckily for them, I’ve been getting pretty good at this whole confectionery thing. Last year’s lolipops and truffles are looking pretty tame compared to honey pistachio torrone, pate de fruit, and candied citrus peels. Except for the fact that the fruit things aren’t quite up to scrach yet.
