This is the recipe I used for tonight’s boiling sugar adventure. It’s still cooling on my kitchen table, so you’ll have to wait until later for pictures and results. The tiny bit I sampled already tastes good though.

Store bought gifts are overrated, I’m thinking. So everyone who isn’t immediate family or the boy will be getting some homemade candies this year. Luckily for them, I’ve been getting pretty good at this whole confectionery thing. Last year’s lolipops and truffles are looking pretty tame compared to honey pistachio torrone, pate de fruit, and candied citrus peels. Except...
